Our Teaching Artists and Staff are involved in a wide range of professional projects outside of their work with Upstream Arts. Sarah Brown will be performing at HUGE Theater on September 9 and 16 (both Sundays) at 8pm for “Improv A-Go A-Go!” Her group will be creating “The Perfect Scene!”
Charles Fraser will be performing in a preview of History Theatre’s production of Nellie at the Minnesota AFL-CIO Pavilion at the State Fair on September 2 at 10:30am and 2:00pm. Nellie will perform at the History Theatre January 24 – February 18, 2013. Charles also leads the improvisation troupe at Concordia University which will be a part of the annual Shakespeare Under the Stars at Frauenshuh Amphitheatre on September 20.
Norah Long will perform in an evening of composer Craig Harris‘ work at the Ritz on September 17. She also begins rehearsals for Lombardi at History Theatre, which will run October 6 – November 4, 2012.
Matt Sciple is directing Outside Providence, three one-act plays by Edward Allen Baker and the inaugural project of Dark & Stormy Productions, at Engine for Social Innovation through September 15.
