Upstream Arts Teaching Artists and Participants

Art is not gratuitous; to the contrary, it is essential. Artists and individuals with disabilities are not fringe citizens; to the contrary, they are paving the way to a more vibrant and inclusive world.

Upstream Arts creates spaces in which individuals of all abilities can realize their full potential as significant, contributing members of our communities through innovative arts-driven programming. Through our partnerships with schools, disability service providers, and a vast range of other organizations and individuals across the region, we are committed to nurturing creativity, social independence, and diverse visions for that more vibrant and inclusive world.

Demand for our work is great, yet funding for programs that look beyond traditional methods is sparse. When you support Upstream Arts, you are investing in creative solutions to community problems. You are investing in the role of the artist as reformer of education and disability services. You are investing in the belief that people, regardless of ability, have the right to access high-quality arts learning opportunities that could transform their lives, to the benefit of all.

Please consider scheduling a donation to Upstream Arts for Give to the Max Day, coming up this Thursday, November 14. In doing so, you are paving the way to a more vibrant and inclusive world. Huge thanks in advance for your belief and support!

Give to the What? What’s Give to the Max, and why donate to Upstream Arts on that day over any other day? Click here to find out!
