Just over 24 hours to go! We’re so looking forward to the first ever Upstream Arts Annual Meeting and Fundraiser, happening TOMORROW from 5-8pm at Pillsbury House Community Center. If you haven’t done so already, get a preview of the fun by checking out recent blog posts on No Reason, Transition Plus, David Luke/Upstream Animated, and all our fabulous sponsors who are contributing food, drinks, door prizes, and festivity.
While all of our Staff, Board of Directors, and Teaching Artists have been working hard to prepare for this event, we wanted to give a special shoutout to the magnificent Alyce Kuenzli, our spring intern! Alyce has been working with us over the past few months on a wide range of projects, from assisting our teaching artists in classes to powering through some administrative work in the office. Most recently, Alyce has been an incredible tour de force as we prepare for tomorrow’s event. Among many other things, she made a work plan, helped get invitations out the door, and secured most of our in-kind donations, including some amazing door prizes. Not only has she been remarkably productive, but her enthusiasm is contagious! We’ve been so grateful to get to know her over the past few months.
Alyce will be bartending tomorrow and helping out in various other capacities – be sure to find her and say hello! We know she’ll put a smile on your face.
The first ever Upstream Arts Annual Meeting and Fundraiser will take place on May 17 from 5-8pm at Pillsbury House Community Center. This event is FREE and OPEN to all – click here to learn more and RSVP.
