Our Teaching Artists and Staff are involved in a wide range of professional projects outside of their work with Upstream Arts. Each month, we post opportunities to see their performances, exhibitions, and other events around the Twin Cities and beyond. Click on the links below to learn more.

Sarah Brown is performing in Ka-Baam! The Improvised Comic Bookcreated by Marvel Comics editor Steve Wacker – the improvised golden age comic book at HUGE Theater, every Saturday night at 8pm. “You give us the names of 3 superheroes that do not (yet) exist and we will show you their origin stories and their team adventure against a supervillain created by our resident comic artist!”

Rachel Jendrzejewski is part of the artist cohort behind Together Held, a creative exchange happening in the patient care spaces at Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota in St. Paul from June 2-September 15, in partnership with Forecast Public Art. Anyone in the Planned Parenthood community can participate at the clinic or online.

Norah Long is performing in a workshop for Roberta Carlson and Michael Robin’s Walking Across Poland at Illusion Theater (look for a 2015-16 production), as well as diving into rehearsals for Tiger Lion Arts’ summer tour of Nature, including leading Community Choruses for the show in each location.
