We’re currently in the process of preparing our 2014-15 evaluation data and financials, in order to share the profound impact of your giving at a glance. In the process, we have the joy of poring through gems of insight from our partners, like this quote from a Special Education Teacher in St. Paul Public Schools, following a spring Upstream Arts residency:
“I saw listening where distraction had been prevalent; I saw movement where stasis is the norm; positive emotion on faces that often reflect apathy; expression of feelings through multiple forms for those who have challenges identifying how they feel; support and celebration, by each, for others.”
As we begin our 10th Anniversary Year, we are embarking on a campaign to raise $100,000 in individual gifts over the next 12 months – a bigger stretch goal than ever before! It takes $39 per week, or $468 per semester, to bring Upstream Arts to one young person with disabilities in a classroom like the one describe above – to create an environment where she can listen, move, feel positive emotions, express her feelings, support her peers, and celebrate success. Can you jumpstart our new campaign by making a tax-deductible gift today, partnering with us to bring the arts to individuals with disabilities in school districts, Adult Day Programs, and community organizations across the Twin Cities metro and beyond? Click here to donate now.
Your partnership makes high-quality arts learning opportunities possible for individuals of ALL abilities. Thank you!
