Twin Cities Social Justice Arts Festival logo

The Twin Cities is a hub for amazing art and inspiring social justice movements – and now EDIT, a local social justice youth arts organization, is bringing these worlds together for the first ever Twin Cities Social Justice Arts Festival! Come enjoy art, films, dance, presentations, food, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and more.

Upstream Arts is thrilled to be participating as part of our 10 Year Anniversary celebration, a chance for our community to come together in creative dialogue. Following short film screenings of The Real Story: Media Coverage of Disability Issues in Minnesota (hosted by Access Press) and Sh*t People Say to People with Disabilities (hosted by Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts) at 10am & 12pm, we will host poetry activities and conversation related to our disability is not a four-letter word campaign.

Also, guess what – you can ride Metro Transit for FREE to and from the festival! Click here to fill out a short survey, then download and print a free pass (valid only on October 3).
