It’s only January, but we’re in full-fledged planning mode for our big 10th Anniversary Art of We Celebration and Fundraiser, coming up on May 19! We’re so excited to bring our community together – toasting to 10 years of groundbreaking work and laying a foundation for the next 10 years to come.

As part of this process, we are seeking sponsors at all levels, toward creating a fun, accessible, and festive environment! The mission of Upstream Arts is to enhance the lives of adults and youth with disabilities by fostering creative communication and social independence through the power of arts education. To that end, our work in the arts is continually enhanced by the partnerships we create throughout our community. For May, we’re especially seeking the support of our business and alumni communities. Your investment allows this event to not only bring our community together, and expand it, but also to open the doors to this 10 year anniversary celebration to all for FREE – a great point of access for our community.

The Art of We will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 6-9pm at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, MN. We will be mailing 1000 invitations, emailing 1700+ individuals, and anticipate approximately 250 attendees at this event. We’re looking for sponsors to join Upstream Arts’ community by investing in our work. More specifically, your contribution will aid in the following:

  •      Paying artists with disabilities who will be performing at our event
  •      Providing American Sign Language Interpreters during the event
  •      Invite Printings and Mailings
  •      Food

Sponsors contributing $250+ will be:

  •      Listed on our website
  •      Featured in a blog post on our website
  •      Highlighted in our online newsletter (emailed monthly to 1700+ individuals)
  •      Shared on social media (800+ Facebook & 1300+ Twitter followers)
  •      Highlighted in the evening’s printed program
  •      Announced and thanked during the performance at the event

Sponsors contributing $50 will be:

  •      Listed on our website
  •      Listed in a blog post on our website
  •      Shared on social media (800+ Facebook & 1300+ Twitter followers)
  •      Highlighted in the evening’s printed program

Additionally, Upstream Arts Board/Staff/Teaching Artist alumni who become sponsors will be recognized at the event as part of our Alumni Sponsor Committee, and will have special opportunities to promote their performances, creative projects, and businesses.
