Hope for Today is an inspirational, short, coffee-table book of hope-filled quotes and messages that will inspire and lift up your day. It contains thoughts on hope and journal pages for you to write about things that you are holding to hope on. It is a great pick-me-up book for days that you need encouragement.

Eric F. Avery is 1 of 5 artists featured in the seventh installment of Art(ists) on the Verge at The Soap Factory, creating a live analog-networking platform in the gallery. The AOV 7 exhibit opens March 12 and runs through April 17.

Aaron Fiskradatz will be performing as a puppeteer (which he’s thrilled about) and occasionally as a dancer (which he’s terrified about) in the upcoming remount of Mad Munchkin Productions and the Eclectic Edge Ensemble’s Snow Bound! A Journey from Autumn to Spring at the Lab Theatre in Minneapolis. This fusion of puppetry and dance features new and reworked pieces since its acclaimed debut in 2011. Performances run March 18-20.

Lindsey Samples is in rehearsals for The Wiz at the Fair School Downtown, which she’s directing for an upcoming run in April. She’s also rehearsing for Savage Umbrella’s Night of New Works, which she’s performing in and which also will go up in April. Check back next month for details!

Pramila Vasudevan will be performing with Rosy Simas for MADE HERE: RADICAL RECESS at Loring Park on March 4 at 12;30pm, free. RADICAL RECESS is a celebration of dance and a grassroots/artist produced performance series designed to put dance in front of existing audiences in nontraditional spaces and to encourage audiences of all backgrounds and ages to experience dance.

Jen Wang will be a feature at the upcoming Calof Series show, a monthly series pairing two singer/songwriters and two storytelling/spoken word artists to present works-in-progress. The event is hosted by Patrick’s Cabaret on March 7 at 7 PM. FREE.

Canae Weiss is performing in Love Person, written and directed by Aditi Brennan Kapil, at Park Square Theatre from March 18-April 10. Four people struggle to communicate, connect, and find love, in this bilingual (ASL and English) romance that will take you on a journey inside your own heart.
