Tena May Gallivan is performing alongside fellow UA Teaching Artists Pramila Vasudevan and Masa Kawahara in Census, an Aniccha Arts outdoor performance installation of 100+ performers moving together across 170 yards for nine hours at the all-night 2016 Northern Spark Festival on June 11.
Rachel Jendrzejewski has extended her Arts on Chicago project, Neighborhood Love Notes, created in collaboration with Drew Sieplinga, through the end of June. This spring, small art gifts were mailed to every address in the Arts on Chicago zone, with an invitation to respond to several brief creative writing prompts. These responses are forming an evolving installation in the lobby of Pillsbury House + Theater. If you didn’t receive a Neighborhood Love Note, pick one up in the Pillsbury House lobby at 3501 Chicago Ave S in Minneapolis!

Norah Long is performing in A Night in Olympus at Illusion Theater through June 4. She’s also judging the Miss Minnesota Pageant on June 17; playing violin and acting in a workshop of Sweet Land: The Musical for History Theatre’s 2017 production; and rehearsing Nature for TigerLion Arts in preparation for Nature‘s upcoming month-long residence at Morton Arboretum (Chicago) in July!
