Summer programming with Upstream Arts
In addition to a busy summer of work with Adult Day Programs across the Twin Cities and at the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind, Upstream Arts is delighted to be offering several arts programs with open enrollment in the coming months, in partnership with Highland Friendship Club and Eden Prairie Parks & Recreation. The Art of Social Skills at Highland Friendship Club
For individuals of all ages and abilities
We’re delighted to be partnering once again with Highland Friendship Club to offer a new round of “The Art of Social Skills,” which focuses on developing social, emotional, and communication skills vital to success in school, work, and life while exploring the fundamentals of visual art, theater, poetry, music, and dance. All ages and abilities welcome – this program is adapted to be relevant for individuals with disabilities at every stage of life!
When?
Mondays August 1, 15, and 22, 2016
6-7:30pm
Where?
All sessions will take place at Cretin-Derham Hall High School (550 Albert Street, St. Paul, MN 55116).
Cost?
$25 per session // $75 for all three sessions
You are welcome to attend only one or two sessions, but we hope you’ll join us for all 3 to maximize the learning and fun!

Social Skills Camp at Eden Prairie Parks & Recreation
For individuals with disabilities ages 12-22
We’re also thrilled to be partnering again with Eden Prairie Parks & Recreation to offer a 5-day camp rooted in “The Art of Social Skills” specifically for individuals with disabilities ages 12-22. “The Art of Social Skills” focuses on developing social, emotional and communication skills vital to success in school, work, and life. Explore the fundamentals of visual art, theater, poetry, music, and dance with professional artists from Upstream Arts in a fun and interactive environment!
When?
Monday through Friday, July 25-29, 2016, daily from 1-3pm
Where?
All sessions will take place in the Senior Room at Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation
Cost?
$195 for all five sessions
