Matt Guidry is excited to be back working with nationally acclaimed theatre Ten Thousand Things, where he has worked on and off as actor and choreographer since 2000. Matt is the choreographer for Ten Thousand Things’ production of Fiddler on the Roof, which opens on February 16 and runs through March 12 at various locations throughout the Twin Cities.

Rachel Jendrzejewski‘s play encyclopedia was recently published by Spout Press and is available for purchase through SPD Books!

Masa Kawahara is performing in Music Animated with Dreamland Faces, directed by Bart Buch, at In the Heart of Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, from February 23-25.

Alyce Kuenzli is co-hosting the Source of Confidence Celebration and Trailer Release Party on February 4 at Darby’s Pub and Grill in Minneapolis. On Nov. 27, 2016, Alyce, Lisa Pugh, & Viki Carpenter became the first all-female expedition to canoe the 4th Longest River System in the World! Alyce says: “It’s time to celebrate our success AND tell you all about what is happening with Source of Confidence: The Status of our Non-Profit Organization Application! Official release of the Trailer for our Documentary! NEW projects we are Collaborating on! And More!”

Pedro Pablo Lander is performing a solo exploration on gender in his specific cultural and historical background as part of EXPOSITION: Queer Performance & Conversation at Open Eye Figure Theater on February 1, 7:30pm. He is also choreographing a trio, performed with Sharon Picasso and Genevieve Draskoci-Johnson, regarding the socio-political unrest in Venezuela, which will be part of the 9×22 Dance/Lab series at the Bryant-Lake Bowl on February 22, 8pm.

Norah Long is busy preparing for the Minnesota tour of the Winesburg, Ohio trilogy with Nautilus Music-Theater. She’s also on staff singing weekly at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church and teaching 55 credits of private lessons at NCU!

Gregory Parks is co-devising and performing in Transatlantic Love Affair’s Promise Land, running through February 12 at the Guthrie Theater Dowling Studio. This new work re-imagines the story of Hansel and Gretel as a tale of immigration, and investigates what forces can compel one to leave their family and home, to venture on a journey through the dark and tangled unknown in search of something better.  And at the end of the voyage, if the promised land of plenty is nothing but a spun-sugar veneer… what then?

Sara Richardson has started classes in graphic design at MCAD! She is in the Post Bacc program and will graduate in two years.

Lindsey Samples is assistant directing We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915, written by Jackie Sibblies Drury and directed by Taibi Magar, at the Guthrie Theater’s Dowling Studio. The show opens on February 21 and runs through March 12.
