Our Teaching Artists and Staff are involved in a wide range of professional projects outside of their work with Upstream Arts. Each month, we post opportunities to see their performances, exhibitions, and other events as well as notable accomplishments.

Theresa Madaus is speaking as part of the DYFIT Symposium on Friday, November 1. She’ll share perspectives on this public art practice as well as plans for the future. Greg Parks is producing and emceeing the Twin Cities Clown Cabaret. The show begins at 9pm every second Thursday of the month (next on Nov 8) and is $5 admission. Each cabaret features performing artists from around the Twin Cities showcasing their clowning and physical comedy chops from disciplines than span from stage to street, circus to festival. Canae Weiss and Abby Magalee will be performing in Threads Dance Project as guest artists for their fall show In The Margins. The show examines implicit bias as experienced by Deaf/Hard of Hearing communities and women in America. It takes place November 16 and 17 at the O’Shaughnessy.
