Location and Transportation
The in-person event will be held at
The Luminary Art Center
700 N 1st St
Minneapolis, MN 55401
(See location on google maps)
There is a curb cut ADA accessible drop-off directly in front of The Luminary Art Center, and a ramp is located to the right of the stairs in order to enter the building.
Parking
There are two parking lots directly across the street from The Luminary Art Center. Both include accessible parking spaces.
One parking lot has a large white sandwich board sign at the entrance saying “Luminary.” This lot is free for event attendees courtesy of Upstream Arts. If paying for parking is a barrier for you or finding another spot is a challenge, you are welcome to park here free of charge.
If you are able to pay for your parking, please reserve this lot for others and use the adjacent pay lot.
There are signs saying “permit only,” but you can still park in these spots.
Likewise, you can ignore this sign – it only applies before 5pm.
Next to the Luminary parking lot is a pay lot operated by the city of Minneapolis. You can pay at their kiosk or through the city parking app on your phone.
You can also find street parking along 1st St. and the surrounding neighborhood. Street parking is free after 6pm

You can enter the Luminary Art Center either by a ramp or by stairs. Once inside, please check in at the registration desk, where we will provide you with a program, Social Skills Scavenger Hunt, and bid number. You can then make a name tag (assistance available) and add pronoun stickers.
If you would like to use any of the access services, please let registration know, and they can direct you on how to find and access the service.
